Free residential parking, how it works ?

Free residential parking contributes to reducing pollutant emissions in the atmosphere, encouraging residents to favor public transport.

Alert level

The alert threshold corresponds to a level of concentration of pollutants in the atmosphere beyond which a short-term exposure presents a risk to the health of the entire population or the environmental degradation, justifying the Intervention of emergency measures.

The alert procedure is triggered for a pollutant given on observation or forecasting by AirParif from exceeding an alert threshold relating to this pollutant or, for PM10 particles, in the event of the persistence of the PM10 particle pollution episode.

In addition to the actions provided for in terms of information and recommendation, this level includes restriction or suspension measures of activities contributing to pollution (industries and transport), including, if necessary, the circulation of vehicles.

For ozone only: this pollutant has three alert level thresholds, triggering the activation or strengthening of certain measures according to the severity of the pollution episode.
