The best applications to learn piano

After having a one -year subscription I went to the life subscription 2 days ago. I took this subscription for my almost 11 year old child who had never played an instrument . This application associated with music theory lessons (32h/year and piano 16h/year) allowed it to be more independent, to know how to position your fingers in order to play compositions at a faster rate, to progress faster. His teacher congratulates him each time . He chooses songs in the red level

Flowkey – Learn the piano 4+

It has been over 50 years since I had touched a piano. (1 year of piano at the age of 10). So a few bases. Today at 60, to make my neurons work and my memory, 3 months ago I buy a digital piano, Yamaha, takes advantage of the 3 -month test at the Flowkey Premium app . In parallel I try other apps, but which do not suit me. With Flowkey possibility to redo the lessons, at the.infinite, choice of very varied songs with beginner, intermediary, expert, pro level. Regularly new features. In parallel with Flowkey I work the music theory with an app that trains me to read floor key and key to fa. I have just taken out a premium subscription for life, all that to say that I am a fan of this app and customer service which is very responsive when we ask questions. Congratulations to them.

Developer response ,

Hello Souad, We are really delighted to learn that Flowkey helps your child progress more quickly on the piano, in addition to his private lessons and music theory. We wish him a lot of fun at the piano and an excellent continuation !

For beginners only

I used the test offer offered with my new Yamaha hybrid piano (I take the piano after 35 years of interruption and 10 years of practice in my youth), and I am very disappointed. The scores do not indicate the fingering (Fingring) and when the scroll scrolls to the left, we no longer see the armor (Key Signature). It still goes for the letter to Élise, but for partitions of Chopin with 5 or 6 downsides we are quickly completely lost and the scores are unusable. Flowkey’s working method is based mainly on the observation of the fingers on the video and very little about the ability to read music, which for me is just very incomplete and disabling because it will prevent the apprentice pianist from progressing towards higher difficulty levels. But technically, it’s still breathtaking to see the partition scrolling automatically when playing (I connected my iPad at the front of USB cable). In short, for beginners only. I hoped to take advantage of a beautiful library of scores, but I rather returned to PDF partitions recovered on the net that I am Annot myself in Forscore. Good luck to you readers, treat yourself and make music !

List Applications Learn Piano

If you are looking to learn to play the piano on the internet, this article is ideal for you ! I will introduce you to the five best interactive piano learning applications. Of course, there are many similar apps, but they are, in my opinion, the most appropriate of them. These apps are well designed and have an easy -to -navigate interface, with step -by -step lessons that help you learn musical theory and piano techniques in a pleasant way, and have a large collection of songs from different styles of music.

They are interactive, which means that when you play the piano, you can check on your digital piano or on partitions if your performance is correct or not. This learning method offers many advantages, including the possibility of exercising wherever you want, when you want. If you decide to go to the paid version of these applications, it is much cheaper than taking private lessons.

However, you have to keep in mind that this is not necessarily the best method to learn to play the piano, especially for those who start. Indeed, no one will be there to observe your progress, stop or correct yourself in the event of poor performance (particularly with regard to the position of the hands, the placement of the fingers and the articulation).

If you know someone around you who knows how to play the piano, do not be afraid to request them on these aspects, because they are essential for the other stages of your learning to be successful. If you unfortunately have no one to talk to for a while, a few hours with a private teacher can teach you the right posture and the right fundamentals to help you progress at the highest level.

If you are looking to explore new things, or if you don’t have time to take private lessons, or if you are looking for an affordable option, learning piano applications could be a good alternative. In this article, we will give you a brief overview of these five apps to allow you to understand their operation and to know which one best corresponds to your needs.
