Relegated in recent years to the rank of tuning accessories for Fiat shops or associated with pseudo-sporting (which remembers the Stilo Abarth . ), the name of Karl Abarth and the famous coat of arms inspired by its zodiac sign find an unexpected splendor on the side of Turin. Like what is done in other manufacturers, Fiat understood that it should offer greater legitimacy to its sports versions, the main image vector for a brand. Because even if the buyers targeted by the new 500 are not of this generation sensitive to experimental DIY on the basis of a double body petoire, Fiat has surely reached the conclusion that it is always good to value a glorious past for S ‘ invent a radiant future. DESIGN
After these long contextual presentations, let’s come to the heart of our subject: this cute Fiat 500 Abarth, or rather, Abarth 500 relations to its full “re-badage”. Fiat’s 1400 supercharged has so far always left us pleasant mechanical memories. UNO Turbo IE, Punto GT, each time these fire engines had only a limited motor skills outdated. The 500 allows exhilarating performance despite a weight that exceeds the ton. The maximum speed of 205 km/h, more anecdotal than the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h which is carried out according to Fiat in just 7.9 seconds.
