Limited accounts are a new kind of EPIC accounts providing personalized experience that guarantees security and inclusiveness to young players. How does the Superawesome parental verification process work ?

When a parent or tutor allows his child to access certain features of a digital service, Superawesome offers Parent several methods to verify that it is really an adult. Credit card verification or debit card works differently depending on whether you reside in the United States or another country around the world.

• Your card will be debited from 0.50 USD if your child lies in the United States. This amount will be reimbursed to you within 8 to 13 working days.
• If your child lies outside the United States, your card will not be debited. Superawesome will rather prevent a small amount on your card temporarily, before returning it.

This service is provided by the Stripe payment processor, but Superawesome will appear as a merchant associated with debit/authorization on your bank statement.

Social security number verification (only available in the United States)

Your first name, surname, date of birth, address, postal code, as well as the last 4 figures of your social security number (SSN) are verified on a government database in order to confirm that you are an adult. This service is provided by Veratad.

Superawesome indicates check methods adapted to the country with your child’s account is associated. If you choose to check your identity with a credit or debit card, Superawesome will start a transaction.

I read that my card would not be debited, but a transaction appears on my bank statement.

If a transaction appears on your bank statement, don’t worry: this is only temporary. Some banks displayed pre -authorizations as temporary flows when the pre -authorization period coincides with the statement of the statement.
