How to activate ESIM?

• Check that you have the latest version of the iOS for compatible iPhones, otherwise make the software update and check that the smartphone is connected to the Internet.
• Go to settings then select Cellular data
• Click on “Add a cell package”
• An interface will open on your smartphone
• Scan the QR code using the camera of your smartphone and follow the instructions.
• Wait until the smartphone connects to the network and ESIM is ready.

Important information

The QR code on the right ESIM is for single use. If you delete your ESIM profile, or if your device is lost or stolen, you must go to one of our dedicated shops to obtain a new QR code

ESIM is available in all VIP Orange stores, airports and shopping centers.

What is esim ?

• You must delete the ESIM profile of your old device
• After deleting your profile, use the new QR code you received and follow the detailed process in the ESIM user manual.

Yes, it can be deleted, but that does not cancel the number, you can request the storage of the number on a SIM

How to delete my esim number

If you need to erase your ESIM number, do it:

1. Access “Settings”.
2. Choose “cellular data” or “mobile data”.
3. Select the profile you want to erase. Press “Delete the cell package”.

What should I do if I sell or offer my phone ?

Make sure to delete the ESIM profile of the device before putting it back to the new user

Unfortunately, at this stage, intelligent watches are not supported for the ESIM offer

Orange had indicated that its packages compatible with the ESIM of the iPhone XS and XR were going to be available at the beginning of the year, except that they are still not there today. The wait should ultimately end soon.

According to our information, Orange plans to take care of the iPhone ESIM this month. Asked about it, the operator replied that he had no date to communicate for the moment and “[Work] always actively on it”.

Previously, Orange told us that the offers available on ESIM would be the same as traditional offers.

The operator already offers ESIM packages in Spain and Poland since the end of last year, as well as in Romania and Slovakia since the spring.
