Gopro Quik (ex Quik – Video editor Gopro and GoPro App) is a free multiplatform utility that allows you to display, control, manage and modify your photos and videos taken with the famous Gopro camera. Gopro Quik also offers you the possibility to download files directly to your phone and automatically transfer them to your computer.

In chronology, you can put your hands in the timeline and change the order of objects that compose it. You can also edit each to add/modify text, crop, filter, change the individual duration (for a photo for example), etc.

In theme, you can choose predefined video templates, they have the formatting of title, transitions, etc. Some are free and can be used without subscription.

In music, you access the Quik music library. As with themes, some content is free, the others are paid (bear an icon in the form of a flash on a blue background). Note the possibility of adding your own music by clicking on the blue library blue icon located at the end of the line.

Duration allows you to manage the duration of each media of your timeline and format allows you to choose the final display format of your video.

When you are satisfied, click the button to save located at the top of the screen. All your creations appear in “My montages” from the studio menu. To export them, click the export button that allows you to save the result on your device and share it as you want.

How to use the Gopro Quik application ?

1. Download your GoPro media to the application

When you have downloaded your gopro media to the application.

2. Wall

Go to the wall tab and click on the blue button + add to Mural. This tab includes all your images in a place in the form of an event. This private space allows you to find your images at any time.

3. Create an event

You will need to select your images that you can recover from the application, the phone or the Gopro Cloud. Once the images have been selected, you need to create a new event. Give a title to this. You can then have access to the assembly.

4. Mounting interface

In the assembly interface, in the main “chronology” tab, you will have access to all the selected media to organize your assembly. Change each clip one by one by clicking on it.

In the “Cut” tab, you can select your favorite moments from the video either manually or thanks to the Hilight car.

Hello, indeed, raw media in 4K or more take up a lot of space. I can advise you to use the application for a temporary transfer. Do not hesitate to download your media to an external source, a hard drive for example. You can also download your media directly to your computer so as not to saturate your phone.
