Cupra embarks on the 100% electric with the Born, a compact sedan with aughet style and promises of sports experience. Born to be wild, really ?

One Monday morning in October, the Mediterranean sun begins to heat the storefronts of the tapas bars of El Born . The street has just been cleaned, erasing the traces of a Sunday evening of celebration in this district of Barcelona.

A funny scene all the more since the car in question is none other than the brand new Born, the first 100 % electric vehicle of Cupra .

To look at her, no doubt, she has a face and she fully assumes the sporting DNA of the Satellite brand of Seat . Small doors, large wheels, aggressive shields, copper and custoded elements worked, she plays her “Born to be wild”. Easy, it’s true ! But above all, she stands out from her cousin Volkswagen ID.3 with whom she shares everything, except the style.

Born to be complicated

With her 4.32 meters long, she managed to treat her sense of welcome and to a lesser extent her carrying capacity (385 liters) and her rather basic modularity . And she also plays it hyper modern in terms of presentation with a minimalist interior, stingy in physical buttons.
