Configure the calling back and calling to the iPhone

You can configure the call referral and the call signal on the iPhone if your cellular service goes through a GSM network.

If your cellular service rather uses a CDMA network, contact your operator to find out about the activation and use of these features.

  1. Access Settings> Telephone.
  2. Tap one of the following options:
    • Call forwarding : appears in the status bar when the call referral is activated. You must be within reach of the cellular network when you set the iPhone for call transfer, otherwise the calls will not be transferred. On the models with double SIM, choose a line.
    • Calling signal : If you are on the phone and call signal is disabled, incoming calls are directed to voicemail. On models with a double SIM, the call signal only works for incoming calls received on the same line, unless Wi-Fi calls are configured on the other line and a connection to cell data is available. Consult the Configure Cellular Service section on the iPhone.

To find out more about the conditional call referral (if your operator offers it), when the line is occupied or out of service, contact your operator to obtain configuration information.
