Called Citroën My Friend Tonic, this variation has new colors associated with the traditional blue body, but also new graphic inserts.

This new Citroën My Ami Tonic receives blocks of lemon yellow and khaki color, as well as graphic stickers such as directional arrows, GPS coordinates of the Technical Center of the Stellantis group or even an “open” at the level of door handles. The symbol “+” is inserted on the driver’s handle, and “-” on the passenger side in order to symbolize “the polarities of a battery”. And recall the electric motorization of this friend.

Concretely, the Khaki color is present on the hubcaps, on the bottom of the doors, or even on the storage stores of the dashboard and the border of the nets, in the interior of the doors. Yellow is displayed at the bottom of these same doors, on the plastron of the front panel and on the doors’ opening straps, inside the friend.

In addition to these colorful additions, the Citroën My Ami Tonic adopts new projector enhancers, and takes up the equipment of other versions. The black plastron located under the windshield, the wheels of wheels, and the front shields as rear are therefore not necessarily specific to this new variation. The electric quadricycle is also equipped with roof bars and wheel arches.

No modification is made to the motorization of the Citroën Friend on this Tonic version. Praised young people since it can be driven from 14 years old, the friend has an 8 -horsepower electric motor for 40 nm of torque. This allows it to reach a maximum speed of 45 km/h, while its autonomy caps at 75 kilometers.

The price of the new Citroën My Ami Tonic is € 8,990. A long -term rental offer (LLD) over 48 months exists, from € 34.99 per month with a contribution of € 3,757.

Citroën is launching a new version of his friend. Named Citroën My Ami Tonic, this finish is placed as the new high -end of the French manufacturer’s electric mobility machine.

Citroën has found an unexpected vein with his electric machine without a license named friend, the manufacturer intends to make the most of it. It was therefore with the launch of a new finish, bearing the name of My Ami Tonic, that Citroën attacks the start of the school year on September 1, 2022. A new version which is still billed € 8,990 (before bonus).

Citroën has already sold more than 23,500 friends in Europe. The brand intends to relaunch attention a little about its model with this new version, after the success of the limited edition My Ami Buggy.

The friend has barely a few aesthetic novelties

We will not be able to remove from Citroën that they have passed masters in the art of selling stickers and some colorful plastics at gold prices. This Tonic finish is still billed € 1,200 more than the basic version…

For this price, you are entitled not to one, but to two colors that we find by touch on the model. You will have a little khaki, taken from the limited edition of friend Buggy, and a little flash yellow, borrowed from the German declination badged Opel, as well as to the friend Buggy also.

This new finish still displays a few details that differentiate it from other versions, beyond the stickers: headlights, wheel arches, roof bars (aesthetic only).

Inside, the model will be equipped with the main small accessories, colored according to the finish, which are useful for this machine: hook for bag, storage bins, smartphone pliers, separation net ..

But no technical novelty

This is probably the negative point with Citroën Friend. The manufacturer has of course corrected several youth problems of the model, but there have been no more visible developments.

Citroën Ami always displays its power of 8 hp (6 kW) and its 75 km autonomy with its 5.5 kWh battery. The 100 % electric model offers its more beautiful 0 to 45 km/h (its maximum speed) in 10 seconds. The machine is still recharging in less than 3 hours on a standard power outlet.

An increase price throughout the range

At the launch of Citroën Ami, the basic model was displayed at € 6,900 for cash payment. With the ecological bonus, it was accessible from € 6,000.

From now on, the entry -level friend model is charged € 7,790, an increase of 13 % of its basic rate in 2 years.
