Created in 2012, Cheerz is one of the leaders in mobile photo printing in Europe. With its smartphone application, it is easy to immortalize its most beautiful hikes. The cheerz print offer

Photo book choice

Cheerz offers several types of photo book: the mini A5 photo album easy to make, with a window cover (porthole type), flexible cover, rigid cover or with a flat opening. Brass artists will be able to choose the photo album type scrapbooking. For each of his photo books, there are several different formats.

Cheerz also offers photo albums according to the occasion: birthday, wedding, travel, baptism ..

For my part, I opted for the flat opening which allows you to use the same photo on both sides of the pages.

This type of photo book can contain up to 450 photos and 112 pages and has many layout templates. There is much to do. Much more than my needs since I selected 42 photos of my hike in Corrèze.

Note that this album is FSC® Mix 70 %certified, label which promotes responsible forest management.

Its price starts at € 39.90 (portrait format).

The creation of my album

I opt for the landscape format (27.5 cm × 21 cm) and high quality matt paper included in the price. The shiny paper is optional (+7 €). I prefer matte paper for a photo album because it supports finger tracks much better and its rendering is softer.

I start by choosing my type of blanket. I opt for a Parisian style to have

A photo and a title on the cover, I indicate the title of my album and I matter my photos. The thumbnails are immediately visible even if the photos are not completely downloaded to the Cheerz server. The import time of photos depends on the number of shots and the speed of your internet connection.

As soon as all the photos are imported, Cheerz offers either to let the software arrange the photo album, or to do it by yourself. I trusted the software. And the result was really convincing. I modified or interverted the order of a few photos, I added some legends under the photos and twice, I chose another type of layout. The Cheerz tool is easy to use and intuitive.

You can easily switch from a global view to a page view as well as to the preview mode.

Some suggestions for improvement, however:

• Allow the deletion of imported photos. Note that the deletion of photos is quite possible on request from customer service. In addition, GDPR standards strictly supervise personal data and photos are regularly deleted from servers for confidentiality and storage concerns in particular.
• Be able to rename the photo file. This is the date that acts as a title.
• Recover the IPTC fields of photos (the title for example) to automatically inform the legends.
• Indicate the type of paper available in printing (brand and reference) for more transparency.

Basket and delivery

Now is the time to go to the basket. Cheerz offers two options:

• The box: nice for a gift
• Shiny paper

I don’t take them. The total price is € 49.80: € 44.90 for the photo album and € 4.90 delivery costs. Choice, it is delivered to the house or in a relay point. I opt for home delivery. Cheerz announces a period of 7 days to receive the photo book. He will finally arrive after 5 days.

The photo album is delivered in a cardboard case made from 100% recycled and 100% recyclable materials. And although a corner is slightly horny following transport, the photo book is in perfect condition.

Blocked and damaged command

Order blocked for 15 days without patterns. Two reminders necessary to finally receive my new order. In the end I receive the two orders the same days (19 days after my initial order) Result: a boxed box, pressed (surely the one that was lost ok) and the second with a torn aspect. Therefore waiting, administrative time to receive two damaged boxes.
