With 227 centers in France, the Carglass brand (the one that is repairing, the one that replaces as well as the Chansonnette claims !) launches a new home repair service.

Do not expect to change the windshield of your car in your garden: the new “flying” technicians from Carglass move on a scooter. Difficult to put a windshield in a top case !

On the other hand, for an impact trace, it works.

The customer calls Carglass Assistance on 0800 77 24 24. The assistance manager asks the useful questions to check if the impact is repairable.

If all the conditions are met, the advisor accesses the planning of the technician in a scooter. In a few minutes, the appointment is made to the address indicated by the customer.

Once there, the technician performs his intervention or finally notes that the impact is not repairable. It is then supposed to find, in agreement with the customer, a new date of appointment in order to replace the windshield. In the workshop, of course.

This unique service will be available this summer in 7 major cities: Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Lille, Strasbourg, Toulouse and Marseille…

Carglass finally specifies that the launch of this service is coupled with the establishment of a system of geolocation of its scooters. In order to :
