The new free offer with Canal+ free for 6 months is it interesting ?

Until October 21, Free offers 6 months of Canal+ subscription to its pop and Delta subscribers … against a 12 -month commitment to the service (27.99 euros per month then). A good deal to save money ? Or a false opportunity ?

To celebrate the start of the school year, Free and Canal+ launch a special operation for new Freebox Pop and Freebox Delta subscribers. Against a one -year commitment to the service, they can benefit from Canal+ for free for 6 months, then at 27.99 euros then. An offer that some already present as a gold case, but is this the case ?

How much does the Free/Canal offer really cost+ ?

To find out, we released our calculator. Here is the price of the Free/Canal+ offer reported at 12 months, 18 months, 24 months, 3 years and 4 years and 5 years:

• 12 months : 6 months offered + 167.94 euros
• 18 months : 6 months offered + 335.88 euros

Watch out for termination

On paper, Free’s offer is more advantageous than the traditional 24 month subscription, since the 6 months offered allow you to create a notable difference in the long term (around 110 euros). It also has the advantage of making it possible to unsubscribe from 12 months, to be able to leave more quickly. However, Pay attention to the General Conditions, Free specifies that: “At the end of the 12 months (+ the current month), the subscription contract at Canal+ is renewed for successive durations of 12 months at the rate in force on the date of renewal of the contract, except termination. »». In other words, it is impossible to leave after 13 or 14 months, while the non -binding offer, more expensive of 170 euros, offers this flexibility.

If you are under 26 or there is a teenager in your family, the offer under 26 is undoubtedly the best way to subscribe to Canal+.
