@rhipilaf do a pacman -Syu before building.

Local your package database is probably out of date, causing pacman to request packages that have been replacement by new versions.

This is the latest state of this software’s development, not a stable release. It is possible that scores saved with this version might not be compatible with other musescore releases. You can have a stable release installed at the same time if you wish. To be launched with ‘musescore-git’.

Welcome to “Master Musecores”: the full online course !

My name is Amandine Fressier, trainer on Musescore since 2014, I am also the author of a site and a YouTube channel on the subject.

I used the software a lot as a music teacher, and I trained many students and teachers to use it. This online course is an extension of my activities around Musescore because I want to share my experience with this software as many people as possible with this software !

The course takes up the same organization as the book “Master Musescore” by Marc Sabatella, if you do not already have it, I advise you to get it, even if it concerns version 2 of Musescore, it is always a more than profitable investment in use !

There are several ways to take this course online, you can watch the videos in order or if you are already familiar with Musescore, go directly to the subjects that interest you. If you are a beginner, I would recommend that you start with the first 2 sections which serve as an introduction to the functioning of the software and which will allow you a quick grip.

The other sections explore different subjects with short videos (5min, 15 minutes maximum) which each present a functionality of the software and its possible uses.

At the end of each section, you can start a discussion with other students and myself, and you can ask your questions about the section you have just viewed.

The sections of this course generally correspond to the chapters of the book “Master Musens” which can allow you to easily seek additional information if you wish.

But do not fear, the online course is self-sufficient !

Whatever your level, I think this course will bring you a lot in your use of Musescores, when we are waiting for us to start ?
