Can I add a warranty extension after being delivered from a new or used audi ?
In both cases, the simple answer is no. The warranty extensions offered with new vehicles are options in the same way as a sunroof or metallic paint. It must be added before the invoice edition (for a new vehicle). However, it is possible in some cases to add an extension of the “accessory” warranty but its price is much higher (2 to 3 times the price of the option).

Why are there any differences in options between your current catalogs and those of the Audi configurator ?
Some options may not have been added to the Audi site configurator.fr, mainly by mistake and processing deadlines. Except in exceptional cases, we inject the latest catalogs in force in 48 hours on our site. In the vast majority of cases, assume that the catalogs prices are the best source of information.

The vehicle I seek does not exist in your list.

I bought my new audi in 2018 but the equipment does not comply with your prices catalogs ?
There are several possible reasons.

Our archives only concern the last catalog in force before a change of generation or facelift, but equipment changes occur several times during the same generation.

Your vehicle was not intended for the French market during its production (see the following 2 subjects).

You bought a version with so -called “minor” options. Sometimes, this is a choice when ordering (the removal of the sport chassis for example), sometimes equipment unavailable to production at a given time often giving rise to a minor price.

Your Audi was a model in stock at the dealer and there have been changes in equipment since its manufacture.

Is there a difference between an audi produced for the French market and an audi imported from other countries (via an agent or an audi concession from another country) ?
There are always differences, of several kinds and for different reasons.

First of all in terms of differences in finishes (S-line, luxury design, avus, etc.) because all the finishes do not exist in all countries and you just have to go to the German site Audi.to persuade you. Equipment common to all finishes also have some differences between each country.

Then, the same finish title does not include the same options from one country to another which often creates misunderstandings on the S-Line finishes very widespread in Germany; The reason is that each country creates its “option packs” in order to meet the specific requests of their population (heated seats in countries where it is cold for example).

Finally, certain equipment differ depending on the regulations between each country. This is rarer at the time of European uniform but still exists. On the other hand, these differences are much more frequent for vehicles from countries outside the European Union (Switzerland in others) and can pose real homologation problems, sometimes insurmountable.

Last important point for used vehicles: the “rejuvenation” of kilometric counters is not punished in all countries, therefore distrust.

Is there a warranty difference between an audi purchased in a French concession and an audi imported from another country ?
We will not decide on all the countries of the globe, but the treatment of guarantees of new vehicles differs somewhat. For a “French” vehicle, your dealer simply applies the guarantee rules*. For a “foreign” vehicle, he must make a request to the country of origin; It does not have any real impact except to waste a little time on the repair.

On the other hand, Audi France regularly participates in certain repairs outside the warranty but does not grant these participations in “foreign” vehicles. This point is not annecdotal.
