According to the policy of insurance subscribed, you can even benefit from protection in the event of loss or theft. The warranty applies from the date of purchase of the Applecare+.

The advantages of Applecare+ are added to your rights as consumers and consumers to obtain repair or replacement at no cost, by the seller, products not in accordance with the sales contract within two years of their delivery, in accordance to the French Consumer Code. How to buy

  1. Buy Applecare+ with your new iPhone.
  2. Or buy it within 60 days of purchase your iPhone:
    • On your iPhone on your iPhone (Go to settings> General> Information, then select Add an Applecare+coverage)
    • Online (you will need to check your serial number and run a remote diagnosis)
    • By calling 0805 540 003 (you will have to make a remote diagnosis and provide proof of purchase)

  2. The coverage begins from the date you have taken out Applecare insurance+. In other words, if you buy the Applecare+ up to 60 days after the purchase of your iPhone, the material coverage will only apply from this date. Technical assistance begins at the expiration of free 90 -day technical assistance offered by Apple, which applies from the date of purchase of your iPhone.
  3. The Applecare+ product warranty only applies to the iPhone and its original accessories. The two Applecare+ insurance products cover (i) batteries retaining less than 80 % of their original capacity and (ii) an unlimited number of incidents relating to accidental damage. Applecare+ with coverage in the event of loss or flight offers protection for two incidents related to a flight or loss of the device per period of 12 months. Each incident is subject to additional costs of € 29 for a screen replacement or damage affecting the glass back, and € 99 for any other type of accidental damage. Additional costs concerning the glass back only applies to the iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 models. Any unused incident linked to a flight or loss will expire after 12 months, and you will benefit from two new incidents related to a flight or loss for the following 12 months of coverage. The express replacement service does not fall within the framework of additional screen replacement or back repair costs. The replacement equipment provided by Apple as part of the repair or replacement service may contain new or already used Apple or already used parts that have been the subject of tests and meeting Apple’s functional specifications.   4. If you opt for the coverage in the event of loss and theft, the location functionality should be activated on your device at the time of loss or theft. Localizing functionality must remain activated and your iPhone must remain associated with your Apple identifier throughout the claim procedure linked to theft or loss. As part of this procedure, you will be asked to erase data from the stolen or lost device, to deactivate it, and to transfer the property before you can obtain a new device.

To be able to connect and access Localize functionality, it is important to remember your Apple identifier and your password, and keep your account information up to date. If you use two factors authentication for your Apple identifier, we recommend that you add to your account another trusted phone number to which you can receive the six -digit check code required to connect even if you n ‘Has more your iPhone.

  • In most countries and regions, you can take out an Applecare+ contract within 60 days of buying your device. In Japan, the subscription of an Applecare+ contract is possible within 30 days of the purchase of your device. In continental China, you can take out an Applecare+ contract on your device within 7 days of buying your device, or in an Apple Store store within 60 days of purchaseing your device. (In the case of an Apple Store store, you will have to provide your proof of purchase, and we will inspect the device.))
  • In some countries and regions, you can buy an Applecare protective plan in the year following the purchase of a Mac, Apple TV or other eligible device.
