He had nothing to pay and better, the headphones were fully replaced. The defective models will probably be recycled internally (better than being thrown) and Nico has left for several good years, with completely new batteries.

In a general way, When an Apple product no longer works and it is not considered obsolete by the American firm, it is always good to try the repair. At worst, the apple will make you too high a quote, but even in this case, each customer always has a margin of negotiation, especially if it is ready to buy new.
