The 34 inch screen (21: 9 format) pivots in all directions with a beautiful amplitude. It is also adjustable from bottom to top. The very light curvature of 1800 R makes the monitor more immersive, without distorting the image too much: great for a polivalent screen, usable by graphic designers, players or almost anyone. Let’s start with a reminder around OLED technology in general.

OLED screens have nothing to do with what was done before them. The idea is to use pixels that produce their own light, they are said to be “organic” or “self-emissive”. Let’s go through the technical charabia: the consequence of the use of these new kinds of a new kind is the withdrawal of the backlight slab behind the TV screen.

When a pixel is black, on an OLED screen, it is simply turned off. The black is perfect, we then speak of infinite contrast. The depth of the image, the covered colorimetric space, the scale between the light peaks and the dark areas. All these elements are upset. That being said, note all the same an important thing. OLED technology has always dragged a fundamental problem : Burn-in. In French, we translate it by burn or screen marking. If a TV or a monitor displays a fixed image of bright color for too long, there is a risk that this image marks the screen. forever.
