Remote Adb Shell
Remote ADB Shell is a terminal application that allows you to connect to the Shell ADB service of other Android devices on the network and run terminal commands. This can be useful for remotely debug of Android devices (execute tools like Top, Logcat or Dumsys). It supports several simultaneous connections to different devices and maintains these active connections even when the application is in the background. This application does not require root on either devices, but the root can be useful for configuring target devices. If the target devices are not rooted, you must use a computer with the Android SDK and Google USB drivers to configure them (detailed below).
This application is a wrapper around the shell that is exposed to ADB. It retains a 15 -command history accessible by pressing the control box for a long time. A long support on the terminal screen itself will give the possibility of sending a CTRL + C, switching the automatic scrolling or leaving the terminal session.
It works exactly the same way as the “ADB Shell” command works on a computer. Since this application uses a native implementation of the ADB protocol in Java, it does not require root on one or the other of the devices or on third -party applications on the target device. The devices simply speak the same protocol between them that they would do it with a computer running the customer ADB from Android SDK.
Important: Android 4 devices.2.2 and subsequent versions use RSA keys to authenticate the ADB connection. During my tests, the devices performing version 4.2.2 will have to be connected to a computer the first time you connect (from each device on which this application is installed). This allows them to display the public key acceptance dialog, which you must accept (and check “always authorize from this computer”). Android 4 devices running.3 and 4.4 seem to have no problem displaying the dialog box without connection to a computer, so it seems that it is a specific bypass solution to Android 4.2.2.
To configure an undated stock target, connect the target device to a computer on which the Android SDK is installed and run “ADB TCPIP 5555” from the Platform-Tools folder of the Android Android SDK. This will start listening to ADB on port 5555 on the target device. The device can then be disconnected and will remain correctly configured until the restart.
For rooted devices (although it is not compulsory), you can install one of the many “ADB WiFi” applications to allow the ADB server to listen to the network. Devices with a personalized ROM can have an option to activate ADB on the network in the Developer Options section of parameters. To connect to your distant Android device, enter the IP address of the device and the port number (5555 in the example above) in Remote Adb Shell. Press Connect and it will try to connect to the device and start the terminal.

1. Activate the options for developers
Before you can communicate your Android smartphone with your Windows PC, you will have to prepare your mobile. And you will first have to activate the options for developers. You can carry out this operation very easily by following the instructions described in this article.
2. Activate USB debugging
Now that the options for developers are activated on your smartphone, you must activate the USB debug. It is thanks to this option that your Android smartphone will be authorized to communicate with your computer once the two devices have been connected using a cable.
To activate USB debugging, open the Settings, Enter the menu System, and go to the Developers’ options. Then scroll the proposed options, then in the section Debugging, Activate the option USB debug.
3. Download the SDK Platform-Tools component
Now you need to download the SDK Platform Tools component for Windows on your PC. You should then get a zipped archive named platform-tools_rxx.X.X-Windows.zip (where the X represent the version number). Diszipate the contents of this file on your hard drive. To do this, right click on the Zipped archive and choose Extract everything. Then select the backup directory in which the content of the archive will be stored.
4. Open the command prompt in the ADB directory
Now enter the repertoire platform-tools_rxx.X.X-Windows that you have just gathered, then in the repertoire Platform-Tools. Click now in the address bar Windows file explorer, enter Cmd and validate by pressing the key Entrance of the keyboard.
A window of theCommand Prompt of Windows should then open automatically in the directory Platform-Tools, thus leaving you the possibility of launching orders.
5. Connect your smartphone to your PC
Now connect your Android smartphone to your PC using a cable, then in the command prompt window that has just opened in the directory Platform-Tools, Type the command ADB Devices and validate.
An alert Authorize USB debugging is then displayed on the screen of your smartphone. Check the option Always allow this computer and press To allow.
The command prompt should then display the mention List of Devices attached as well as the serial number of the smartphone connected to your PC.
Your Android smartphone is now connected to your computer via Android Debug Bridge.

Start by moving the APK files to install in the Platform-Tools directory. Then in the window of theCommand Prompt open in the repertoire Platform-Tools (see step 4), type the command ADB Install Nomdevo your AppliPLI.apk.
In our example, we want to install the alternative F-Droid store, whose apk is named F-Droid.apk. The command to enter ADB to install the file will therefore be ADB Install F-Droid.apk. The command prompt should then display Performing Streamed Install, Then indicate the message Success To signify the right installation of the application. Remember to restart your smartphone so that the changes to the device are correctly taken into account.
