1 – CODA
Winner of theOscar for best movie During the last ceremony of the same name which was held in 2022, CODA is an American remake of the French film The Aries family. We discover the daily life of a young girl (Emilia Jones) whose family members are deaf: her mother, her brother and her father. The criticism notably praised the role of the latter (Troy Kotsur), also awarded by the famous statuette.
This dramatic comedy, beyond the protagonist and this supporting role, is also an opportunity to discover the actor games of Marleen Matlin (The L World, Switched, What do we really know about reality !?), from Eugenio Derbez (Overboard, How to be a latin lover, Manolo legend) and Amy Forsyth (Torment, A Christmas Horror Story, Hell Fest)).
2 – Finch
In Finch, Tom Hanks embodies the eponymous main character who tries to survive somehow after civilization has collapsed. Our hero is accompanied by his dog and a robot, which he himself made and tries to educate by all means. Released in 2021, the feature film will not have caused a lot of ink to flow but was still appointed to the Annie Awards.
What is more, when he arrived on Apple TV+, Finch would have broken audience records – even if Cupertino did not confirm the information officially. However, this is not surprising: the apple firm remains very discreet on this subject, and we do not know exactly how many viewers are subscribed to its streaming service today.
3 – Raymond and Ray
With Ewan McGregor (Small murders with friends, Trainspotting, Star Wars) And Ethan Hawke (Dead Poets Society, Welcome to Gattaca, Lord of War) at the head of the bill, Raymond and Ray tells the story of two brothers that everything opposes. While they haven’t talked to each other for years, their father dies with a last will: his sons dig his grave together.
Half-drame, half-comedia, this touching film will challenge all children of torn families, but also more traditional profiles looking for a scenario warming in the heart. Count just over an hour and a half to view the work entirely.
4 – Emancipation
Emancipation tells the true story of Gordon (Will Smith), a black slave from Louisiana who escaped from a plantation in the 1860s to join the Union army during the Civil War. A conflict which, as one recalls, opposed the northern states, abolitionists, to those of the South, in favor of slavery and always usually conservative.
5 – Boys State
Apple disbursements had to be no less than twelve million dollars to afford the rights to Boys State. This documentary follows the tumultuous attempt of a thousand teenagers from Texas, trying to reproduce a government and its functioning. Unsurprisingly, the result turns out to be catastrophic, but pushes to think and above all, made us laugh out loud to have a stomach ache.

“This comic-political series follows the investigations of three private detective sisters who work on behalf of their father, a former corrupt cop. Between family rivalries, shameful secrets and dangerous affairs, they will have to face their own demons. “With Michelle Dockery, Annabelle Wallis and Kaya Scodelario in the title roles, Bad Sisters is a breathtaking, captivating and sometimes hilarious series.”You have really seen the series ? Because I remember something with five sisters, four of whom have repeatedly entered the fifth’s husband. There is no private detective, but two insurance agents trying to establish that there was murder to avoid paying the bonus, no former corrupt cop, and of course neither Michelle Dockery, nor Annabelle Wallis ni Kaya Scodelario do not appear in. Worse, these three actresses never worked together ..
The Bad Sisters intrigue that you describe is false. Ditto for Hello Tomorrow!
